Transition to Work

In order to facilitate their transition to work we work with the students to identify potential post-school job roles based on their interests, skills, knowledge and experience. We also help them identify the requirements to be employed in these job roles.

Career and Enterprise Stage 1 , Workplace Learning (mode 1 &2) and work experience provides ample opportunities for students to learn how to generalise the concepts learnt in class.

Students practice writing resumes and cover letters, making phone inquiries, participating in interviews, dealing with rejection and filling out the basic forms they will encounter post-school.

We also introduce students to the services available to support their transition such as Centrelink and employment service providers.
