Safe Return to School Plan – 2022
We’re getting ready for Day 1, 2022 and look forward to welcoming back our students to face to face learning. The safety and wellbeing of students, staff and families is our top priority.

Ventilation
Adequate ventilation in classrooms helps to minimise the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
Ventilation assessments have been conducted across our school facilities during the summer holidays. Schools have been provided with guidelines on ventilating rooms. A ventilation sticker system is in place which informs staff of how to prepare rooms at the start of each day for optimum ventilation.
The department’s ventilation recommendations are informed by WA Department Health advice, expert advice from the Doherty Institute, the World Health Organisation and the Department of Finance.
Ventilation is one part of our plan in relation to COVID-19, developed with WA Department of Health.
The ventilation poster explains the different types of ventilation in classrooms.
Visitor Information
The COVID-19 vaccine is an important measure to keep Western Australians safe and healthy, and will help protect you, your family, your school and the community. You can find out more about the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines at the Healthy WA website.
Parents, carers and visitors who visit the school more than once a week (or visit more than one school) will be required to show proof of vaccination when visiting a school. This evidence will be recorded on a Vaccination Status Record and stored securely.
